The Edelbrock part #7501 from rpm air-gap in take manifold for chevy 350 is designed for 1955–1986 262-400 c.i.d. small block chevy v8 applications. in order to separate the runners from the hot engine oil and create a cooler, denser charge for more power, the design incorporates an open air gap.
