Mobile Garage Door and Gate Service Technician / Installer

AGG DOORS is a Garage Door and Gate Company based in Hallam, in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs, we provide installation, Service and Repair services to both Residential and Industrial Customers.

We are looking for applicants preferably with previous Garage Door Industry experience, but we are willing to train the right applicant.

Mechanical & basic electrical skills are an advantage as well as knowledge of hand tools.

Installation, Service and Repairs of Garage Doors

Installation, Service and Repairs of Garage Door Openers

Installation, Service and Repairs of Gate Openers

Service and Repairs of Gates

Position is Casual to start with a view to go Full Time.

The successful applicant must have the following attributes:

Good Spoken and Written English skills.

Manual Drivers Licence.

Welding Skills.

Hand Tools Experience.

Power Tools Experience.

Must have not previously applied.

Be willing to work overtime if required.

Be physically fit.

Attention to detail.

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Customer Service Skills.

Electrical Fitter w/ Switch Board Experience or A- Grade Electrician

The successful applicant would also preferably have the following attributes:

Previous Garage door industry experience.

Live within 30 minutes of Hallam

Have previous experience using a Multimeter

Have previous experience using Electrical tools

Have previous experience using Hand Tools

An average day in a van:

7:30 at the factory to load up

7:45 Out the door to the first of up to 6 scheduled jobs.

3:00-6:00 Return to factory to return stock and throw out rubbish.

The length of your day is heavily dependent on your ability to be self-motivated and work efficiently.
